Because I was at Westfield I couldn’t help but stop in to Inglot cosmetics another brand everyone should buy. And got a few eyeshadows there. The brightness of their colors and the range of colors is absolutely amazing! So as makeup days goes it was a great one :)

One more thing! Clinique in House of Fraser has a giveaway today!! either in the one in Westfield or on Oxford st. Go to the counter and “check in” on your BlackBerry through places and show it to the Beauty Advisor there and get a free Airbrush Undereye Concealer!! I did it go for it!!

Yay so exciting!!! I have decided to try my hand at youtube makeup tutorials!
I have been working hard at making my first one which is going to be a simple easy tutorial. I am still getting the hang of doing it so its gonna take time until the actual tutorials are perfect which is ultimately what I want and im sure you want.
I need to figure out which camera will work but for the moment I am using the webcam on my lap top. i guess there will be many different ways to video but i will start with this!
When my first one comes out i would really love some feedback on what u thought of it and Im looking forward to posting it!

Wish me luck

11pm on wednesday night and I’m really really inspired to do my makeup unfortunately there is no point coz as soon as I have done it it will have to come off my face!

It all started a while ago when i was tweeting (yes people i was on twitter) and I was looking at different makeup blogs and checking out different tutorials. Then I was checking out a palette that Make Up For Ever just put together and am totally lusting after its so bright and colorful and all the summery colors that one needs in their little makeup world. When it comes to Eyeshadows and MUFE the searching stops there! Their colors are vibrant and true to what you see!! Every time i went into their Flagship store in New York it reminded me why I love their shadows over any others (they are bigger and more pigmented)!! The people in the store are also really helpful and friendly. Its a small and quiet store in Downtown manhattan yet so much goes on there. I wish I still lived in NY just for that!!
Tell me you don’t want this!! These are the Color numbers if you want to get this palette together 26, 2, 99, 159, 18, 72, 92, 75, 91, 9. In order from back row left to right.

So anyway as I was saying about my inspiration, i went from place to place (online) just googling and searching makeup ideas and inspirations!! and this is why I LOVE Makeup so much. There is so much out there that can be created into a makeup look and honed and perfected into pure unadulterated beauty. Im probably waffling but my love and creativity at the moment are not being used because its so late and I have to wake up early but my heart is popping and I know I wont be able to fall asleep because my mind will be racing away at all the different makeup looks i can do in the morning and cant wait to try!

Ok ill stop! I really have to calm down and relax before bed.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and restful night (one that i wont be having)

Keep on shining and glowing

Well i have had one of the worst evenings of my life!!!

It started well with me washing all my brushes coz I had a makeup job this evening. I cleaned my airbrushing machine and tidied my case up and put everything that was in my handbag into the makeup case all the lipglosses that were floating around the house and all over my bags.
My hubby came to pick me up because we were going to visit my grandparents in Manhattan. We put the suitcase in the back of the car and we were off. had a great dinner with the grandparents and my daughter was acting all cute which was perfect. We drove home and i didnt end up needing my makeup just yet coz my friend was running late so we went home first. Got out of the car and i ask my hubby where is my makeup case? he looked and it wasnt there. wioth heavy hearts we took my daughter inside to put her to sleep and while my hubby did that i went back out to look through the car (not a huge car) still not there. OMG basically all my makeup that i have bought throughout this past year lets say it totals near $3000 has been stolen. I am totally dying and stressing out. I dunno what to do? All i have now is one lip gloss and one bronzer. I bought over $100 of makeup last week! I am so stressed! I cant do my makeup for work tomorrow!! What am I going to do?

Prime your lids with eye primers, then witness shadows immediately intensify and blend-our shadow bases eliminate creasing and fading!
The crowning glory of every Natural Eye are lush lashes! Finish your look by applying two or three coats of Mascara for full lush lashes!

308TPG Pop Up shop 002 smallerThis morning I woke up with excited butterflies in my tummy. It was the Pop up Shop day!! which means i get to buy more makeup for less! Well of course coz I get nervous that everything will be gone before i get there i arrive bright and early at 11:30 (when it opens at mid-day). I met Michael and he’s really nice and friendly (thanks for making me feel comfortable). They had great products there and at amazing prices. It was held at the OCC studio which just opened at the end of October. I had a great time and saw some really nice people there. Michael went through my protfolio with me to share how I could make it better. He was brutally honest and I loved that because I need it in order to succeed in what I love doing most – Make up.

I Finally got the Stila Eyshadow Kitten which i have been lusting after for ages. I got a Stila Smudgepot in Purple from the barbie collection. I got Shadow shields which im really excited about, by-by to eyshadow fall down! Some plastic storage bags. Makeup remover, and a toner which i have wanted since the Makeup show NYC in May.

All in all it was a great experience and got some great stuff for my kit.

Thanks TPG u guys r great!!

Last night I went to a shoot in the Bronx With Boytoyrocks.com. It was in a basement and was all very dark and mysterious. The theme of the shoot was goth sexy! I wasnt sure how the shoot would be. One of the models didnt turn up but the other model was Sarah Hartshorne from ANTM!! which was great! She is a really sweet girl and we had a great time together.

The make up was fierce!! Black and Red which was a lot of fun to do. I helped accessorize sarah and we had a lot of fun working together!!

Pics coming soon!!!

mineralized eye shadowA sheer, pearled, mineralized powder Eye Shadow with two shades baked together in one pan. Superfine, lightweight: provides a softly tinted, reflective shimmer on the skin with a delicate sense of dimension. Subtly builds colour and shine. Can be worn on face, eyes or body.

It comes in four colors:
Mineralize black w/ gold bronze pearl (Frost)
Mineralize black w/ pinkish purple pearl (Frost)
Mineralize black w/ silver pearl (Frost)
Mineralize black with blue pearl (Frost)

I bought it in the black with the blue pearl. It is a gorgeous color and can be used either wet or dry and as a liner as well as an eyeshadow.
The only problem with it is that it was a limited edition and is not sold anymore! I went to macy’s to go buy it and the woman said that there wasnt anymore, but i went back later and the woman had it. I now regret not buying it in all colors!!
